50% Muscat Petit Grains, 30% Muscat d'Alexandrie and 30% Macabeu all grown on schiste soils. Whole cluster fermentation in foudre and 500L old french oak and elevage in both for 8 months. Vines are astonishingly 60-80 years old. Think bruised apple, orange blossom, herbs and a hint of toffee. Firm tannins from white grapes, but balanced with fruits and acidity. A bottle that hits you with notes reminding you of Southeast Asian spices and flowers. Think jasmine, kefir lime and lemongrass mixed with heady orange blossoms. A wine that brightens any rainy day and feels refreshing in the heat of summer.
